Hometap Equity Partners, LLC (“Hometap”) is a Boston-based specialty finance company that provides innovative home equity solutions and asset management services. Founded in 2017, Hometap enables homeowners to access the equity in their homes without taking on additional debt or monthly payments. In September 2025, Gallatin Point made a preferred equity investment in Hometap to accelerate the growth of its Home Equity Investment (“HEI”) offering and potentially expand its suite of product offerings into adjacent home equity products.
